1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide the Celer experience, specifically specifically Velocity-Based Training (VBT) analysis and gamified rewards. The types of information we collect include:
A. Account Information
When you register for an account, we may collect personal details such as your name, email address, password, and profile image. If you sign up using a third-party service (e.g., Apple Sign-In), we collect information permitted by that service.
B. Health & Motion Data (Apple HealthKit)
To provide Velocity-Based Training features, Celer requires access to data from your Apple Watch and iPhone sensors. This includes:
- Motion Data: Accelerometer and gyroscope data used to calculate lift velocity (m/s), power, and range of motion.
- Health Data: Heart rate, active energy burned, and workout duration.
Crucial Note on Health Data: We do not use your HealthKit data for advertising purposes, nor do we sell this data to data brokers or information resellers.
C. Camera & Images (Gym Scanner)
Our “Gym Scanner” feature uses your device’s camera to identify gym equipment via AI. Images captured for this purpose are processed to identify equipment and are not permanently stored on our servers unless you explicitly save them to your profile or loadout.
D. Location Data
We may collect coarse location data to enable features such as “Gym Detection” (identifying which gym you are currently in to load your saved equipment list). You can disable location services at any time in your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide Features: To calculate velocity metrics, generate AI coaching insights, and track your workout progress.
- Gamification: To award badges, streaks, and display your position on the “Hall of Legends” leaderboards (using your username and specific workout stats).
- Improvements: To analyze usage trends and improve the accuracy of our VBT algorithms.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We disclose your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party cloud providers (e.g., Firebase, AWS) that help us host the App and process data securely.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
4. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Delete Your Account
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the Celer App settings or by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, your data is removed from our active databases.
Apple Health Permissions
You can manage Celer’s access to your Health data in the “Health” app on your iPhone. If you revoke access, VBT features may stop functioning, but your account will remain active.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
